The short version

Knotify is a matchmaking app built for real families. Here's what matters most:

  • Your profile is only visible to other verified members — never public, never indexed by search engines.
  • Your phone number is never shown to other members unless you choose to share it yourself.
  • When you request a callback from our website, we store your name and phone number only to reach out to you about Knotify.
  • No ads. No selling your data — ever.

1. What we collect

To run Knotify, we collect:

  • Profile information you provide — name, photos, preferences, and details you choose to add.
  • Account information — email or phone number used to sign in, and authentication tokens that keep you signed in.
  • Website enquiries. If you request a callback on this website, we store the name and phone number you submit in our website_enquiry table, solely so our team can call you back.
  • Usage data — which features get used, so we can improve the app.

2. How we use it

Everything we collect is used to:

  • Show your profile to relevant, verified matches.
  • Verify authenticity and keep the platform trustworthy.
  • Respond to callback requests submitted on this website.
  • Send important account or service notices.

We do not use your data to train third-party AI models, or to target advertising outside Knotify itself.

3. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal information. The only third parties involved in running Knotify are:

  • Supabase — our backend provider, which hosts our database. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
  • Apple & Google — if you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email and name from them.
  • App stores — for delivering the app and handling optional in-app purchases.

4. Your rights & controls

You are always in control of your Knotify data. You can:

  • Edit or hide any part of your profile at any time.
  • Control exactly who can contact you, and how.
  • Delete your account. Email gouccdev@gmail.com from the address on your account. We will permanently remove your profile and associated data within 30 days.

5. Security

Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to the small number of people who operate Knotify.

If you believe you've found a security issue, please write to gouccdev@gmail.com and we'll respond quickly.

6. Children

Knotify is a matchmaking platform intended for adults of legal marriageable age and is not directed to children. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact gouccdev@gmail.com so we can remove it.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version. For any question, write to gouccdev@gmail.com.
